SAVE THE DATE! BATS Webinar on Year-round Active Mobility

Project: BATS
Virtual event

Description

On 12th March 2025 at 10:00 CET, the BATS consortium is pleased to invite planners, mobility managers, public service providers, and walking and cycling organisations to join us for our first open webinar.

Active Mobility is a healthy, green transport option that contributes to the overall sustainability of a city and the wellbeing of its population.

However, despite the numerous benefits, the number of active mobility users drops dramatically during winter months, particularly in places experiencing harsh weather conditions such as coldness and darkness.

During the webinar, our speakers will introduce the impact of year-round active mobility (YRAM) and the challenges faced by cities in promoting the concept, explore the approaches taken by the BATS project, and provide insights into the ongoing YRAM interventions being experimented by some of our pilot cities.

Sharing their perspectives and expertise, we are delighted to be joined by:

Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions to our speakers and share personal opinions and experiences during an interactive Q&A session.

Attendance is free and open to all.

Receive more information straight to your inbox by joining our BATS Mailing List.

We look forward to seeing you there!
