Kick-Off Event launches RESIST project in Hamburg

Project: RESIST
Physical Meeting
From 11-13 December 25 partner representatives officially launched the RESIST project in Hamburg

Description

During a three-day conference 25 partner organisation representatives from seven countries jointly launched the RESIST project in Hamburg, Germany.

The RESIST project brings together regional authorities, business support organisations and sectoral agencies to develop a model of how to open up existing regional innovation ecosystems for social innovators and social entrepreneurs tackling societal and environmental challenges.

The kick-off conference provided the opportunity for project partners from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Sweden and Germany to develop a shared vision for the project. Through a co-creational process, the group also worked towards a joint understanding of social innovation (SI) and social entrepreneurship (SE). The conference results serve as a vital foundation for further project activities.
