5th Baltic MSP Forum "Navigate Planning Through Changes!"
Project: Baltic PlaNet
Physical Meeting
11. - 12. November 2025
Baltic PlaNet is launching its collaboration with an online roll-out workshop for Associated Organisations and Steering Group Members with additional key BSR stakeholders invited. The session is designed to move quickly from shared context to concrete next steps: what Baltic Sea Region municipalities need for climate resilient spatial planning, what Baltic PlaNet will deliver, and how partners will steer uptake.
In 60 minutes, you will leave with practical inputs you can use in Baltic Sea Region municipal coastal planning—not just concepts:
Reality check for planners: what does climate change and extreme wether events means in the Baltic Sea Region and how it is already affecting everyday decisions
Baltic PlaNet in a nutshell: what the platform delivers for municipalities and planning authorities, what “success” looks like in practice, and how you can engage (validation, steering priorities, and uptake pathways).
Ready-to-use planning support: how Baltic PlaNet consolidates and operationalises proven outputs from EU projects—e.g., Sea2Land Navigator, adaptation pathways, and planning-relevant indicators/assessments—into formats that fit planning workflows.
Where this plugs into your work cycle: linking climate adaptation to real municipal processes and identifying concrete entry points in plans, permitting, investment prioritisation, and risk communication.
We will also work in a shared BSR definition and pillars for climate resilient spatial planning: a clear, region-specific understanding of climate-resilient spatial planning, built around a unified approach, public safety and wellbeing, governance fit, usable evidence, and continuous improvement.
The workshop will be recorded, and materials will be shared with the participants.
