Description

CIRC-2-ZERO Project Workshop II - Prioritization, Refinement and Validation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

April 16, 2026

The CIRC-2-ZERO Project successfully held its second workshop on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Building on the outcomes of I Workshop, the session focused on prioritizing, refining and validating the proposed KPIs to ensure they are relevant, measurable and aligned with the project’s evaluation objectives.

The II Workshop concentrated on advancing the KPIs identified under the agreed evaluation categories:

  • Technical Performance
  • Usability, and
  • Value Impact

The workshop was structured into three main phases. Beginning with an introduction outlining the objectives and agenda. Participants then prioritized the KPIs identified in I Workshop through a multi‑voting exercise, allocating votes using a shared Excel sheet. Finally, the selected KPIs were refined and structured by defining clear names, descriptions, calculation methods, data sources, measurement frequencies and target values to ensure a shared understanding and practical applicability.

The workshop concluded with a validation and wrap‑up session, during which the refined KPIs were reviewed and confirmed by the participants. Final questions and clarifications were addressed, and the next steps for applying the validated KPIs within the project were outlined.

The work will continue in the III workshop on 30 April 2026, which will focus on defining and assessing data collection procedures for the finalized KPIs, including data sources, methods, timing and automation, to ensure their feasibility and readiness for use.
