HyTruck Breakfast Briefing February 2025

Dear HyTruck members and other interested stakeholders,

 We are pleased to invite you to HyTruck Breakfast Briefing, which will be held as an online Teams event on Wednesday 5^th of February from 09:00 to 10:00 (CET). Our host and project partner, Reiner Lemoine Institute, has invited Marcus Schober, researcher from the Reiner Lemoine Institute, Pedro Brosei, Joint Spatial Planning Department Berlin-Brandenburg and Project Manager of the Interreg project H2CE, and Josephine Nehring, researcher from the Reiner Lemoine Institute.

During the first half of the session, Mr. Schober will present the guidelines on building hydrogen refueling stations in the Baltic Sea Region. This guideline aims to support public authorities in the Baltic Sea region in planning and constructing HRS. It provides valuable insights into the demand for hydrogen and HRS, environmental aspects, hydrogen distribution and storage, technical standards, economic considerations, the legal framework, and stakeholder cooperation. In addition, Mr. Brosei and Ms. Nehring will jointly present updates on the H2CE project, where recently the summary of regional analyses and the guidelines for strategies and action plans are being developed.

HyTruck Breakfast Briefing is planned as monthly occurring event, meant to work as a transnational exchange channel for information related to hydrogen fueled heavy road transport and hydrogen refueling stations. The Breakfast Briefings aim to distribute and share this information to all parties interested in hydrogen-powered mobility and refueling infrastructure in the Baltic Sea region and in European level.
