European Ocean Days will be a week of events related to European maritime topics.

Description

European Ocean Days will be a week of events related to European maritime topics. Over this week, the event will span to include the EU Mission Ocean and Waters, future priorities for Europe’s Seas, blue innovation and investment opportunities, as well as ocean literacy activities. The range of the events within the European Ocean Days will include the 2nd Annual Forum of the Mission Ocean, the event Where next for Europe's Seas?, the BlueInvest Day, and the event Ocean Literacy in Action.

The EMPEREST project, which was adopted as an action for the EU Mission Ocean, will join these events!

During the Annual Forum of the Mission Ocean, you can find EMPEREST representatives:

  • Lead partner UBC SCC will join the matchmaking event on the 1st day of the Annual Forum (4 March)
  • Project partner TUAS - Piia Leskinen will give a presentation about EMPEREST at the Annual Forum's panel "Preventing and eliminating pollution" (5 March)
  • EMPEREST project poster will be displayed in the networking areas of the Forum (5 March)

You will also be able to find EMPEREST poster at the poster exhibition of the "Where next for Europe's Seas?" event!
