Description
On 17-19 March 2025, EMPEREST will organise its partner meeting in Kaunas, Lithuania. This internal meeting will be connected with a seminar for Lithuanian stakeholders on 19 March (the language of this event is Lithuanian).
The seminar "PFAS Challenges and Solutions: Building a Safer Future" will present the PFAS situation in Lithuania including PFAS treatment results from EMPEREST piloting activities at the Kaunas Water company. Participants will also learn about the training package for wastewater treatment specialists, and the PFAS risk assessment tool for municipalities prepared by the project.
The target audience of this seminar includes representatives from Lithuanian municipalities as well as WWTP operators and specialists.
