Description
A well-designed dynamic food procurement gives small-scale farmers and operators many opportunities to grow, succeed, and positively impact territorial communities, at the same time reduce food waste. That is why it is important to mix different food policies with strategic policies for the public policy to succeed in a most efficient way.
Are you a procurement specialist, school chef, municipality representative, representing farmers or involved in some other way in the school food procurement? We've put together two onsite co-creation days for you and others like minded.
Here, you all gather in one place, sit down together, get inspired and be part of the development, to find solutions to common obstacles and come up with incentives.
The Dynamic Food Procurement days will be held on May 14th and 15th, focusing on the Baltic countries of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. The spotlight will be on innovations in sustainable public food procurement (SPFP) practices, in particular efforts to source healthy and high-quality food from small-scale farmers and food businesses in a legally sound way.
