Description

This activity is organised in collaboration with Verdensmål i hænderne, Verdens Skove and Roskildesyge Teknisk Skole.
It is a two day workshop and training activity for 25-30 carpenter students.
The results from the training activity will be further developed and showcased at Ungdommens Folkemøde 2024 and as part of the exhibition that will run during Circular Spaces Conference in Copenhagen in October.
Training Activity Topic: Reusability, Repairability, Recyclability

The activity and programme includes:

Day one:

  • Presentations from Verden Skove (framing global challenges fore why circular design is relevant)
  • Presentations and reflexion exercises in UN Sustainability Goals. Facilitated by VerdensmÃ¥l i Hænderne
  • Presentation and introduction to project 'Circular Spaces' and Circular makerspaces: training program with the focus on broad introduction to circular design principles, the topic reuse, repair and recycle
  • Group working
Day two:
  • Hands-on workshop building 17 stools that combined can be joined as a circular bench communicating about UN Sustainability Goals.
      • The stool and bench design is based on and communicates circular design principle
