CCC aspects in public procurement of construction with focus on roads and city infrastructure

This training session is dedicated to the ChemClimCircle aspects in construction procurement. The knowledge and experience from the  NonHazCity 3 project will be shared with the ChemClimCircle consortium by Jenny Faldt, City of Stockholm. As construction is a large subject area, the focus is on the road building and built environment (bicycle roads, playgrounds etc). We will focus on:

• Most important ChemClimCircle aspects in construction planning
• ChemClimCircle aspects of building materials
• Examples of CCC procurements in the construction sector

The session will be divided in two parts:

• Presentation by Jenny Fäldt, City of Stockholm
• Mutual sharing sessions for municipalities in group setting, facilitated by Ecodesign Competence Centre

The session is designed for procurement officers, sustainability experts and other municipal staff involved in purchasing decisions who want to strengthen their competence on circular procurement within CCC-2 and beyond.
