Description

Urban Mobility Days (UMD) 2025, the European Commission's biggest event on shaping the future of urban mobility policy,  is heading to Vilnius, Lithuania, from 30 September to 2 October 2025. This three-day gathering will bring together policymakers, city representatives, researchers, and mobility experts from across Europe to exchange ideas, showcase innovations, and set the course for greener, smarter, and more inclusive transport systems.

Among the many contributors to this event is BSR Urban Mobility platform project, which will be joining the event with a mission to highlight the importance of SUMPs and share information about upcoming project activities. BSR Urban Mobility platform brings together tools, guidance and demonstrated solutions from 17 projects that help BSR cities and urban nodes to tackle urban mobility challenges. 

On 30 September at 9:15, during the European Transport Corridor Meeting North Sea–Baltic, Ira Sibelius, Project Manager from City of Turku/UBC Sustainable Cities Commission will deliver a short presentation on the key aims of BSR Urban Mobility and SUMPs for BSR projects lead by City of Turku/UBC Sustainable Cities Commission.

On 30 September at 9:15, during the European Transport Corridor Meeting Scandinavian – Mediterranean, Tommi Vollmann, Head of Scandria®Alliance Secretariat - one of our project partners -  will share insights to the BSR Urban Mobility platorm and upcoming activities!
