Technical details

On 14–15 October 2025, the MI-RAP team met in Vilnius for its fourth partnership meeting, hosted by the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. Over two productive days, the focus was on reviewing progress, defining next steps, and preparing the Transmission Programme that will share MI-RAP’s results with a wider audience.

Day 1: Status Quo, Next Steps & Finalizing Solutions
The first day was dedicated to taking stock of all solutions developed so far. Together, the partners validated and finalized their results, agreed on final edits, and set deadlines for completing the remaining materials. An Excel-based coordination system was introduced to help the web designer upload all content efficiently to the upcoming MI-RAP website.

In the afternoon, participants reviewed all communication products for the second half of the project and discussed dissemination strategies — from reaching out to partner networks and associations to strengthening MI-RAP’s visibility at music conferences across Europe.

Short video portraits were also filmed during the meeting. Each video introduces the person behind one of the pilot projects, highlighting why the pilot was initiated, what has been learned, and what visitors will discover on the MI-RAP website.

Day 2: Designing the Transmission Programme
The second day focused entirely on shaping the Transmission Programme — MI-RAP’s structured approach to transferring knowledge and experience beyond the project team. Three working groups were formed to design:

  • Soft Transmission: online webinars for 50–100 participants;
  • Intermediate Transmission: deep-dive online sessions for up to 16 external partners;
  • Elevated Transmission: a coaching and peer-mentoring programme for four selected cities.

Each group defined its concept, timeline, and next steps to ensure the programme is ready to launch in 2026.

Shared lunches and a joint dinner provided space for informal exchange and strengthened the sense of community within the team. As an optional cultural activity, several participants also visited Lukiškės Prison, a former penitentiary turned cultural venue — a thought-provoking and unique experience that added a local touch to the meeting.

The meeting concluded with reflections on what has been achieved so far and how MI-RAP’s results can continue to grow in impact across the Baltic Sea region.
