Description

Can a public institution positively influence the climate, biodiversity, and local communities while simultaneously fulfilling its core functions? Many organizations declare a commitment to take care about the natural environment; however, the greatest challenge lies in translating these values into everyday decisions—ranging from procurement and service delivery to resource management and the cultivation of lasting relationships centered on shared environmental goals. This presentation combined with a workshop will introduce a practical tool: a business model template that incorporates an organization’s ecological responsibility, developed within the international project BaltSe@nioR 2.0. The model encourages viewing an institution through the lens of a circular economy, cross-sector collaboration, and the simultaneous creation of value for both clients and the natural environment. Participants will be provided with a set of key questions that they can use to plan and implement a "green transition" within their own organizations.

The workshop is delivered by Dr. Beata Fabisiak, representing platform partner Poznan University of Life Sciences and will be held in Polish Language.
