Circular food packaging in Copenhagen’s waste strategy

Copenhagen integrated reusable packaging systems into its Resource and Waste Strategy 2030. Instead of creating a standalone roadmap, the city embedded reuse targets and pilot actions into its existing waste strategy, enabling a coordinated transition across municipal services, events and takeaway systems.
