02 July 2026
The winner of the international e-Bio Business Award 2026, is the Finnish company Pure Garden, known through its Fifth Flavour brand. The competition was organised within the eRural resilience project.
The competition was established to recognise bio-based businesses that successfully integrate digital solutions into their operations, production, communication and market development, demonstrating how digitalisation can strengthen competitiveness and support sustainable growth across the Baltic Sea Region.
The competition was launched across all project partner countries, inviting bio-based businesses to submit a short video presenting their company, bio-based products or services, and explaining how digitalisation contributes to their business development.
Following the evaluation by an international jury, Pure Garden was selected as the winner for its outstanding combination of bio-based innovation and digital solutions. The company produces premium black garlic products and demonstrates how sustainable entrepreneurship and digitalisation can successfully support business growth and resilience.
- “The e-Bio Business Award demonstrates how bio-based innovation and digitalisation together create new growth opportunities for businesses across the Baltic Sea Region. By sharing their stories, companies not only showcase their achievements but also inspire others to adopt innovative and sustainable solutions.”
As the winner of the e-Bio Business Award 2026, Pure Garden will receive a professionally produced marketing video. In addition, the company will be invited to Latvia this autumn to present its business and share its experience.
Valmiera Development Agency would like to thank all participating companies and project partners for their valuable contribution to organising and promoting the competition.
