Social Innovation Under Pressure: RESIST Workshop Brings European Innovation Actors Together
How can innovation systems become more inclusive, mission-driven, and socially impactful? This question will be at the centre of the upcoming RESIST Social Innovation Capacity Building Workshop, taking place online on 3 June 2026.
The workshop will bring together policy makers, innovation support organisations, NGOs, social enterprises, researchers, cluster organisations, and social innovation stakeholders from across Europe.
At a time when social innovation faces increasing pressure from shifting political priorities and growing competition for resources, the event aims to create space for practical exchange, collaboration, and learning. Participants will explore concrete tools and approaches designed to strengthen social innovation ecosystems and improve support structures for social innovators and social enterprises.
The workshop will introduce several practical solutions developed and tested by project partners across the Baltic Sea Region, including approaches for mission-oriented innovation policy, social innovation capacity building, impact measurement, and cross-sector collaboration.
A central part of the programme will be the interactive breakout sessions, where participants can engage directly with experts and exchange experiences on applying the tools and methodologies within their own organisations and regional contexts.
