Training session dedicated to the CCC aspects in transportation and packaging.

Description

This training session is dedicated to the horizontal theme of the ChemClimCircle procurements: transportation and packaging – and the last mile of delivery of the goods and services. The session will be led by Ieva Markucevičiūtė-Vinckė (MC Baltics), expert in sustainable transportation systems.
We will focus on:
  • Most important ChemClimCircle aspects for transportation of goods in procurement
  • Most important packaging aspects to focus on in procurement
  • Insights into the Packaging regulation and will it affect the procurement
  • Examples of CCC procurement requirements for transportation and packaging.
The session will be divided in two parts:
  • Presentation by Ieva Ma, MC Baltics
  • Mutual sharing sessions for municipalities in group setting, facilitated by Ecodesign Competence centre.

The session is designed for procurement officers, sustainability experts and other municipal staff involved in purchasing decisions who want to strengthen their competence on circular procurement within CCC-2 and beyond.
