From rural roots to culinary destinations – that’s the taste of project Bascil
20 January 2026
In the Interreg project Bascil, partners from eight countries across the rural Baltic Sea region came together with one shared goal: to support local food producers by helping them grow into sustainable culinary tourism.
After three years, the project has come to an end – but the work continues. Looking ahead, Bascil will continue to inspire rural food and drink businesses to develop, renew themselves and adapt. Through culinary tourism, not only are local traditions preserved, but it also helps to create stronger businesses and more vibrant local communities for the future.
Feedback already shows great results – welcome to share the success story.
