Green Governance Day 2025 - Vilnius, Lithuania
Project: ChemClimCircle-2
Physical Meeting
26. November 2025
10:00 - 17:00 (EET)
The ChemClimCircle-2 partners will convene in Vilnius for a two-day meeting designed to advance both the strategic direction and the practical implementation of the project.
The first day opens with a plenary session introducing the CCC-2 strategic framework and exploring opportunities for collaboration across work packages. Partners will discuss capacity-building needs, share reflections from the Green Governance Day, and align their understanding of how procurement, circularity, climate and chemical safety objectives come together within the CCC-2 approach.
In the afternoon, the meeting transitions to a hands-on working format at the Martynas Mažvydas National Library. Partners will engage in collaborative discussions on procurement case selection, provide feedback on the GoA 1.2 organisational mapping matrix, and participate in expert sparring sessions to support the development of procurement cases under GoA 1.3 and 1.4.
Further work will focus on preparing and improving the project’s data collection methodology to ensure consistency across municipalities and regional entities. The day concludes with a session led by Ieva Markucevičiūtė-Vinckė, guiding partners through the project’s impact assessment and mapping framework and helping define ambition levels for the pilot cases.
On the second day, the consortium shifts into forward-planning mode. Municipalities and regional entities will begin preparing for GoA 2.1, launching the initial steps toward developing the Case Implementation Plans linked to the outcomes of GoA 1.2.
Parallel to this, a dedicated working group for GoA 1.4 will bring together impact assessment experts from GoA 1.4 and GoA 1.3. The group will continue the development of the impact assessment concept, ensuring that climate, circularity and chemical safety criteria are consistently embedded across the forthcoming pilot cases.
By combining strategic discussion with practical co-creation, the two-day meeting will help consolidate the consortium’s shared direction and strengthen the foundation for the next phase of ChemClimCircle-2 implementation.
