The Copenhagen Street Days 2025 combined international 3×3 basketball competitions with diverse urban activities, food stalls, and community experiences.
System tested:
- Reuse system for food packaging and cup through reverse vending machines and donation boxes
When:
- 5–7 September 2025
Aim:
To test a digital return and deposit system in a large open-space event
Outcome:
The reusable measures achieved a return rate of nearly 90%, with strong visitor acceptance and meaningful CO₂ and waste savings.
