In October 2025, Warsaw hosted a networking event for Polish INTERREG projects, highlighting cooperation and innovation in rural development. GYPREG partners showcased their work on environmentally friendly soil improvement strategies.

On October 10, 2025, Polish partners of the GYPREG project showcased their work at a national meeting in Warsaw dedicated to INTERREG initiatives. Organized by the Polish Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the event brought together representatives from regional and local governments, central institutions, universities, research institutes, private companies, and NGOs.

Fostering collaboration for sustainable agriculture

The GYPREG team presented the project’s core objective: improving soil health and reducing phosphorus runoff in agriculture through the use of gypsum as a soil additive. Attendees were briefed on the technical solutions developed, the stakeholder groups engaged, and the environmental benefits of the approach.

Beyond the presentations, the meeting offered valuable opportunities for networking and collaboration. Participants exchanged insights, discussed project outcomes, and explored future partnerships to advance sustainable agricultural development and environmental protection.
