BSR HyAirport project partner meet on the island of Sylt

The eighth on-site partnership meeting of the BSR HyAirport project took place on the island of Sylt in September. The two-day event was hosted by Sylt Airport.

The agenda included both administrative and substantive topics related to the progress of the project. Particular emphasis was placed on the exchange of information about initial pilot activities and the planning and implementation of future pilot activities. Further preparations were made for the upcoming project conference in Hamburg. Moreover, additional findings from external service providers on the development of solutions were presented.

On Wednesday afternoon, a separate meeting was held with associated organizations and interest groups from Schleswig-Holstein. This provided a platform for exchange with local stakeholders to share information, identify potential synergies, and discuss future challenges and approaches together.

The program was rounded off with a tour at Sylt Airport, where the partners gained insights into the operation of a smaller regional airport – from the infrastructure itself to the logistical processes.
