Almedalsveckan 2025 (Almedalen Week)

The event titled “Förnybara bränslen till framtidens sjöfart – när är vi i hamn?” (Renewable Fuels for the Future of Shipping – When Will We Reach the Destination?) is scheduled during Almedalsveckan 2025, taking place on Wednesday, June 25, from 15:30 to 16:30 at Handelskamrarnas Arena, located at Trappgränd 4, S:t Hansgatan 16 in Visby.

This seminar will explore Sweden's potential to produce renewable fuels, such as biofuels and electrofuels, for the maritime sector. The discussion will focus on how investing in these fuels can enhance energy resilience, reduce dependence on fossil fuel imports, and contribute to the decarbonization of transport. It will also highlight the business opportunities for early adopters in the industry.
