ITW - Exploratory Workshops in Berlin - Shaping the DeepTech Toolbox

The BSR DeepTech Launch project team met in Berlin for an International Thematic Workshop, a key milestone in the development of the project’s final output – the DeepTech Toolbox  for students and young researchers. The meeting was organised on March 14th, 2025, by the German Partner, OpTecBB.

The first part of the workshop focused on reviewing survey outcomes and KPIs from regional exploratory workshops. Participants exchanged insights, compared results, and identified both shared patterns and regional differences. These findings will guide the refinement of future engagement strategies.

The second half centered on co-designing the Toolbox, exploring optimal formats (web, PDF, roadmap) and defining stages of entrepreneurial maturity—from early ideation to initial implementation. The team discussed how to tailor resources to each stage, integrating self-assessment tools, intellectual property knowledge, and region-specific inputs.

This collaborative session marked a crucial step toward delivering a user-friendly, adaptable, and impact-driven toolbox to empower the next generation of deep tech entrepreneurs across the Baltic Sea Region.
