Recups and Rebowls in School Cantine in Hamburg

In collaboration with the vocational school Berufliche Schule BS 32 An der Landwehr in Hamburg, the Change(K)now! project partner Oekomarkt e.V. tested the introduction of recups for hot beverages and rebowls for milk rice and cous cous salad instead of single use cups and bowls.
What was tested and evaluated:

Recups & rebowls in secondary high-school cantine. Deposit system: 1 € per cup and 1 € per lid, 5 € for Rebowl incl. lid.
When:
- January – March 2025
Aim:
To introduce circular system in the public school catering.
Outcome:
The results of the evaluation will come in due time.
