Plastic-free school cafeterias in Tallinn

In collaboration with two high schools in Tallinn, Tallinn German Gymnasium and Tallinn Laagna Gymnasium, the Change(K)now! project partners Baltic Restaurants Estonia AS and the Tallinn Strategic Management Office tested the removal of plastic disposable packaging for food prepared on-site and sold in the cafeterias (sandwiches, salads, wraps, desserts, smoothies).

Aim:
To explore the feasibility of a plastic-free school buffet.
Outcome:
Partly successful. More data on the evaluation results will come in due time.
