On March 5, 2025, the first Regional Strategy Lab took place in Gdańsk, Poland. The Strategy Lab was organised within the RESIST project and held back-to-back with the meeting of the Regional Committee for Social Economy Development.
The Strategy Lab was well attended with 30 participants, all members of the Pomeranian Committee for the Development of Social Economy. The group represented various sectors: NGOs, local governments, social economy entities, research institutions such as universities and institutions supporting social entrepreneurship.
The meeting was hosted by representatives from Pomorskie Voivodeship. The aim of the meeting was to brief the participants on ideas on how to build long-lasting structures supporting Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship in the region. In particular, aspects of building legal, organisational and financial structures, institutionalised within a Cluster for Social and Ecological Innovation (CSEI).
This first RESIST Regional Strategy Lab kicked started the process of building strong structures for SI/SE support. The strategy development process will be convened during the next meeting, envisioned for the second half of 2025.
