New sustainability platform: ESG Tool internal testing kicks off

11 March 2025
Technical details

The ESG Tool is a free digital platform developed in collaboration with organizations from Estonia, Finland, Latvia, and Lithuania. It helps small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) understand and meet sustainability standards.

From March 3rd to 14th, all project partners test how the ESG Tool works.

Partners are using the test version to assess their organization’s ESG performance through a five-step process. During the testing phase, partners evaluate the tool’s user interface, technological performance, methodology relevance, visual aspects, and accessibility to ensure usability, efficiency, and inclusivity. Their feedback refines the tool, enhances user experience, and optimizes its overall functionality. Internal piloting results serve as feedback for ESG Tool improvements and adjustments to better fit SME needs.

In April, the testing phase expands to include enterprises from various industries. Companies from different sectors in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Finland have expressed interest in participating in the tool’s testing. This collaboration provides valuable insights into the tool’s effectiveness and usability across industries.

By autumn, the ESG Tool becomes freely accessible to all interested parties, ensuring broad accessibility and usability for local organizations.
