Food Waste Sorting in Schools and Education

The Lithuanian Consumer Institute is pleased to announce an upcoming workshop on "Food Waste Sorting and Education in Schools", scheduled for 28 February 2025. The workshop focuses on promoting effective food waste management in schools and encouraging active student participation in sorting activities.

Workshop agenda:

Part 1: A short presentation on food waste challenges in schools and the importance of proper sorting.

Part 2: A discussion about how to improve food waste sorting in school canteens and ways to involve students.

The workshop will bring together representatives from central government institutions, municipalities, and waste management companies to share experiences, discuss challenges, and find practical solutions for improving food waste sorting in schools.
