During the pre-event, new stakeholders were introduced to the Strategy, with networking and discussion opportunities. The GYPREG project team shared insights and experiences from water management initiatives, shaping future environmental funding directions in the region. Interactive sessions promoted cross-sectoral collaboration to tackle regional challenges. The team presented new ideas and received constructive feedback from policy officers. Discussions on strategic solutions to advance regional development goals were held, with the team contributing to conversations on the strategic directions for the BSR.

Interactive Gypsum Showcase

The GYPREG project stand emerged as a key attraction for participants keen on exploring the environmental applications of gypsum. Visitors had the opportunity to examine Latvian gypsum samples under a microscope and learn about Latvian water management practices through LHEI’s interactive game ‘Circus,’ designed to promote water resource management in an engaging and educational manner.
