EUSBSR Annual Forum 2024

The Annual Forum is the yearly gathering for collaboration in the Baltic Sea Region within the framework of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region.

The Forum takes place over two days on 30 and 31 October, with an engagement day on 29 October in form of a site event. With the overall themes of Sustainability, Resilience, and Security, the Forum aims to deepen our understanding and enhance collaborative efforts in these areas.

Engagement Day | 29 October

The Engagement Day is an opportunity for stakeholders to engage with the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region.

Target groups: Local authorities, civil society, youth organisations, the business sector and Ukrainian stakeholders

The EUSBSR Annual Forum 2024 will begin with an optional side event, focusing on widening participation, increasing engagement and attracting new stakeholders to drive the Strategy forward. For those new to the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR), understanding how to benefit from it can be challenging. What can the Strategy offer your organisation or institution? Even after recognising its benefits, navigating the Strategy can still be difficult. With numerous contacts available, where do you start? Additionally, since the Strategy doesn’t provide direct financing, how can you fund cooperation with other countries?

Four Plenary Sessions are planned for the Annual Forum 2024.

Parallel Sessions are concurrent workshops, seminars and panel discussions.
