Technical details

On 16 July 2024, the 3rd ISC of the BSR DeepTech Launch project was held on the zoom platform. All project partners were invited to the meeting.

The 3rd ISC meeting was to jointly develop the draft of the BSR Deeptech Launch Student workshop post-workshop survey – the 2nd Feedback Survey – and define the KPIs.  It also ensured proper monitoring of the Exploratory Workshops.

As part of the Project, each Partner will run a series of three exploratory workshops for deeptech students and young researchers in their country, with topics focused on:

  • encouraging entrepreneurship;
  • presenting cases of success and failure;
  • analysing scientific/business trends; exploring market potential (discussion with real case examples led by VC investors);
  • generation of business ideas and their validation with case work: how to turn passion into business + transformation of scientific solutions into technological products.

After the workshop, students will be given a short questionnaire (survey)  to complete.

The purpose of the survey is to collect KPI’s – which stands for key performance indicator, a quantifiable measure of performance over time for a specific objective. In this case, the aim is to explore issues such as:

– increase of knowledge on deeptech entrepreneurship as a result of participating in the workshop;

– acquisition of new sources of information on support for starting up and running deeptech company;

– a need for more activities promoting entrepreneurship among students.
