Partnership as the key to success

Magdalena Fuk from the Great Masurian Lakes Protection Foundation, a partner in the #Lakesconnect project, discussed our activities, emphasizing the importance of partnership and collaboration among various entities in achieving common goals. The project engages scientists, public administration, non-governmental organizations, and society, merging scientific knowledge with legislative actions. This synergistic collaboration is crucial for the effective protection of valuable lake ecosystems.

Pilot studies provide valuable information

The pilot studies conducted as part of the #Lakesconnect project analyze the impact of tourism on the water quality of selected lakes in Poland, Lithuania, and Latvia. They provide essential information for developing effective strategies for water environment protection, which is crucial for sustainable management of these resources.
