Report on Baltic Sea region benchmarking and baseline scenarios for nature-based solutions published

The first City Blues report has been published on the project website. The report gives an overview of the main City Blues project concepts and challenges on planning, design, operation, monitoring and maintenance of nature-based solutions. They can be used in stormwater management and preventing flooding. However, these multifunctional solutions bring many other benefits, as well.

In the report, background information on the current operational models for NBS implementation are reviewed, and best practices for each step in the NBS life cycle are given based on the existing workflow and lessons learnt from the pilot projects. Report brings together experiences from cities in the Baltic Sea region, namely Aarhus, Malmö, Stavanger, Tampere and Tartu.
