2nd Regional Stakeholder Group meeting (Poland)

Meeting summary:

In connection with our launch of the second Activity Group in the project, which concerns the creation of scenarios for exploratory workshops for students and young scientists, together with the Polish Photonics Technology Platform, we organized the 2nd meeting of the Regional Stakeholder Group (RGI) of the project, which took place on January 12, 2024, at 10:00 am, online, on the ZOOM platform.

The purpose of the second meeting was to propose tools to be examined in the survey. Polish partners were tasked with proposing tools from their region, as were other partners from theirs. The tools were tentatively identified during the first RGI meeting, and then each of the Polish partners made their own identification of further tools and held a series of meetings and discussions that helped us successfully conduct the second RGI meeting.

On the eve of the second RSG, a meeting was held with Startup Academy Poland to consult the tools collected and have an in-depth conversation about existing incubation programs, the challenges that exist in supporting startups and future entrepreneurs. Startup Academy is an organization supporting all those who want to launch and develop their own business, and its experience is based on many years of practice in incubation and acceleration programs for startups. Together we selected the main proposals to be presented during the 2nd RSG.

Then, during the 2nd RSG meeting, together with the Project Stakeholders, we selected the next best tools to support students and young scientists in acquiring entrepreneurial skills and knowledge in this area. As a result of these activities and the 2nd RSG meeting, tools were identified that will be included in the "Survey of the needs of students and young scientists in pre-incubation", and the survey itself will be conducted to determine the needs and awareness of available support tools.

The meeting was attended by 10 people.
