"Transforming Cities. Shaping development policies"

From the 6^th to 7^th November 2023 the International Conference in Gdańsk “Transforming Cities. Shaping development policies” took place. The main goal of the conference was to present and discuss the main urban concepts currently implemented in practice, that shape the future of our urban centers.

The presentation “Liveability – shaping solutions for building resilient cities in the Baltic Sea region” given by Dorota Kamrowska-Załuska and Magdalena Rembeza was in the session related to the selected research issues of city transformation.

The conference was co-organized by the City of Gdańsk, the Gdańsk University of Technology and the Society of Polish Urban Planners. At the same time, it is a part of the ISOCARP Regional Events program, promoted by the International Association of City and Regional Planners ISOCARP. Representatives of the Global Planners Network and the European Council of Town Planners (ECTP-CEU) were also participating in the conference.
