Partner meeting in Jelgava creates momentum in the final project period

Partners from Sweden, Denmark and Latvia met in snowy Jelgava, Latvia from the 29th of November to the 1st of December to discuss progress and learning in the project thus far. These discussions and reflections contribute to the main output of the project the Blue Green Bio Lab toolkit. It is the partners' ambition to use their experiences gained in the project to help other public authorities in getting started with bio-industrial symbiosis.

During the partner meeting there was also a very interesting visit to Gren, a waste to energy company working actively with developing sustainable approaches to heat production in the UK and Northern Europe, including Latvia.

The Blue Green Bio Lab project finishes at the end of March 2024. We hope to see many participants at our online final conference on March 5th.
