Virtual study trip biogas and insect farming

In this seminar we focus on innovative refinery concepts with a regional and sustainable background. On this topic, we organize a virtual tour along the biogas production of GUT Dummerstorf GmbH. Here you will learn more about current and future challenges of agricultural production. In addition, you will get an insight into possibilities for process optimization in the area of substrate selection as well as gas upgrading.

We will also introduce you to the young Rostock-based company ENTAVA GmbH. This insect farm has been producing high-quality proteins from residual materials since 2022. A self-sufficient concept for energy supply rounds off the sustainability concept completely. In addition, we would like to provide you with current information on education in the agricultural sector.

The target group for this event are teachers, students and all other stakeholders that also contribute to a circular bioeconomy and a more efficient management.

We would be pleased to welcome you as a potential partner for circular bioeconomy in our region.
