Seminar about the lake management in Latvia

Partners from Latvian Institute of Aquatic Ecology took part in a 2 day seminar about lake management in Latvia at the end of May.

Technical details

The seminar was organized by Kurzeme Planning Region and presentations of projects and good practice examples were shared by representatives of governmental institutions, NGOs and scientific experts.

The topics covered ranged from identifying different biotopes, effects of different types of tourism on lakes, how to slow down eutrophication processes, balancing stake.
