On February 9, Ogre State Gymnasium students together with Erasmus+ program students from Spain visited Latvian Institute of Aquatic Ecology to get acquainted with the work of the Marine Monitoring Department.

The microplastic laboratory was one of the four laboratories visited, where students were introduced to microplastic pollution in the environment and its effects on living organisms. Students were given the opportunity to participate in sample processing and analysis.
