Kick-off meeting

11-12 January 2023, Poland, Warsaw

We are pleased to announce that the project – Building networking hub for units interested in lakes protection in Baltic Sea tourist regions (Lakes connect) – kick off meeting will take place on the 11-12 of January 2023 in Warsaw, Poland at the building of University of Warsaw Biological and Chemical Research Centre (Żwirki i Wigury 101 str.).

The meeting will be attended by all partners (Latvian Institute of Aquatic Ecology, Gulbene Municipality Council, Siauliali Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Craft, Foundation for the Protection of the Great Masurian Lakes, University of Warsaw) and representatives of the Ministry of Climate and Enviroment, State Water Holding – Polish Waters, Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy.

During the meeting we will discuss a full overview of the project. It will be a great opportunity to discuss all important matters related to the project and to get to know each other.

The signing of the agreement by participants is planned during the second day of the meeting.
