BALTIC MAKERS

The project is related to the growing popularity of handmade crafts and increasing consumers’ interest in buying unique items that are not mass produced. In order to better respond to the market expectations, craftspeople and artisans need to get knowledge on how to get into the market and take advantage of electronic commerce and use of e.g. mobile commerce or Internet marketing. Facing this challenge, the project aims at improving cooperation and professionalisation of craftspeople for better commercialisation of their goods by using information and communication technologies.
