On 13 May 2025 in Szczecin, (Poland) took place workshop of the project EMPEREST. Representative of the GdaƄsk University of Technology presented "Occurrence and potential migration pathways of PFAS in urban environments and their impact on health" based on WaterMan project pilot case.

Representative of the GdaƄsk University of Technology presented “Occurrence and potential migration pathways of PFAS in urban environments and their impact on health” based on WaterMan project pilot case.

This was a place to exchange experience on the advanced wastewater treatment and learn about the latest pilot studies testing efficient combinations of technologies to remove organic micropollutants. During conference participantss could hear about the upcoming EU legislation requirements, discuss modernisation strategies for wastewater treatment plants, test PFAS risk assessment tool for cities, and increase your capacities with more knowledge on PFAS and other organic micropollutants.
