Technical details

From May 20–22, the Latvian Institute of Aquatic Ecology, represented by Barbara Massalska-Duszczyk, and our Swedish partner Vattenresurs, represented by Julie Garrison, took part in the inspiring Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme Conference in Tampere, Finland.

Bringing together nearly 300 participants, the conference celebrated the power of transnational cooperation. It offered a vibrant space to exchange ideas, build new connections, and spotlight the innovative spirit driving the Interreg Baltic Sea Region.

Our project, TRUST ALUM, was proudly showcased in the exhibition area, allowing us to share our vision and results with a broad community of experts, policymakers, and fellow project leaders. Through dynamic workshops and thought-provoking discussions, we explored how Interreg projects like ours link research, governance, and public engagement to address regional challenges.

The event reinforced that the true magic of Interreg lies in collaboration across borders – and we’re excited to be part of this journey.
