Technical details

We warmly invite mobility experts to fill out a short survey for us to develop a training programme on sustainable urban mobility planning!

In the Baltic Sea region, many cities have the goal of becoming carbon neutral. This requires a harmonized approach to strategic urban planning: climate, energy, urban development and mobility plans need to be in line, striving towards the same vision to reach goals. Traditional transport planning needs to be replaced by sustainable urban mobility planning aiming at accessibility and integrated development of all modes. The transition from car-focus to “mobility for people” is at the core of Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMP).

In the SUMPs for BSR project, we are developing and organising a training programme supporting cities in the adoption of good quality SUMPs. The focus is especially on the challenges of the small and medium-sized cities in the Baltic Sea Region. We are carrying out this short survey to tailor the training programme according to the needs of cities. The survey is targeted especially at those working with mobility planning and mobility measures.

It is possible to submit several answers from one city/municipality.

We look forward to your contribution by 30 September 2024.
