Communications Specialist joins to support the SEABAS team
06 March 2026
Communications Specialist Heini Feodorow has joined the SEABAS team to support the project communications. She is working in close co-operation with project manager Janica Borg at the SEABAS lead-partner HELCOM’s office in Helsinki, Finland. Heini is a HELCOM-returnee as she was working at HELCOM on the science communication project HOLAS to all during 2024.
Heini’s responsibilities lie in supporting, coordinating, and implementing the project’s outward-facing communication activities to increase the visibility and impact of the project. Planning and coordinating the project’s events, content production to the SEABAS webpage and the project’s communication plan forms the core of her working days.
“At SEABAS we aim to provide support for spatial planners to incorporate the environmental aspect even better into Maritime Spatial Planning in the long run. Professional support to communicate such multi-faceted and abstract topics as Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEA) and Maritime Spatial Planning (MSP) is valuable to ensure our goals are met “, highlights the SEABAS Project Manager Janica Borg.
Feel free to contact SEABAS Communications Specialist Heini on matters related to the project’s outward-facing communications on heini.feodorow (at) helcom.fi.
Welcome aboard, Heini!
