Transforming Homes Together – RenoWave at Tampere 2025

From May 20 to 22, 2025, the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme Conference, titled “Kind of Magic. Interreg: this is how we do it transnationally”, took place at Tampere Hall in Tampere, Finland. The event brought together nearly 300 participants to explore the transformative power of transnational cooperation in the Baltic Sea region.

During the conference, the lead partner of the RenoWave project, the County Board of Dalarna, delivered a presentation focusing on the renovation of multi-apartment buildings and the pivotal role of One-Stop-Shop (OSS) models in facilitating these processes. The RenoWave project aims to establish OSS agencies across several Baltic Sea region countries, providing comprehensive support to homeowners throughout the renovation journey—from initial consideration and planning to financing and implementation.

This presentation underscored the importance of collaborative efforts and shared knowledge in accelerating energy-efficient building renovations, aligning with the conference’s overarching theme of harnessing the ‘magic’ of Interreg to drive sustainable change across borders.
