What an incredible time we had at the International Field Days in Minikowo, Poland (Dni Pola Minikowo)! Crowds of agricultural experts, hundreds of demonstration plots, non-stop discussions, and a massive boost of innovation. As one of the premier outdoor agricultural events in Poland, this year's show clearly demonstrated the growing demand for modern, sustainable pest management - and the PestSpace project made a strong, memorable mark!

Alongside over 350 exhibitors, we helped shape a space dedicated to the future of smart farming and crop protection. A staggering 20,000 attendees – practitioners, researchers, farmers, and ag-tech enthusiasts – passed through the event grounds.

As an initiative supported by the Interreg program, our project attracted tremendous interest throughout the event. Even a few rain showers couldn’t dampen the energy!

Our booth was buzzing with activity from start to finish!

What PestSpace is All About: We highlighted our project’s core mission – building a Pest Common Data Space for the Baltic Sea Region. We bring together cross-border partners, advanced data, and smart technologies (like AI and eDNA) to drive sustainable, eco-friendly plant protection and integrated pest management in modern agriculture.

Presenting the PlutOf System: We were thrilled to showcase our PlutOf alert system, demonstrating how it powers advanced data management, biodiversity tracking, and smart pest monitoring for the Baltic Sea Region.

Connecting the Dots (and People!): We held hundreds of insightful conversations with farmers and experts in Poland, exchanging knowledge on digital monitoring tools and building valuable relationships that will undoubtedly bear fruit.

Tackling Tomorrow’s Challenges: We proved that effective pest management and environmental responsibility can – and must – go hand in hand, no matter what the weather forecast holds.

Key Takeaways

A massive appetite for knowledge – The huge turnout in Poland confirms that the agricultural sector is actively seeking modern, reliable, and sustainable digital tools.

Eco-friendly is the new standard – Environmentally conscious technologies and smart data platforms like PlutOf drew major attention, perfectly aligning with the core mission of Pest Space.
