Explore the latest from Light in the Dark! Our piloting phase is complete, and we’re entering an exciting new chapter for low-season tourism in the Northern Baltic Sea Region.

In this edition, you’ll find:

  • Launch of the Experience Design Handbook – a practical resource to help destinations and SMEs create authentic off-season experiences.
  • Completion of the transnational piloting phase – 15 co-created products tested across Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Sweden, now feeding into our media bank and upcoming seminars.
  • Wrap-up of the meta campaign and updates on the PSR1 survey rollout.
  • Partner reflections from recent pilots and events, including insights from Strömfors Ironworks, Moonlight Safari Paddling, and the EMÜ Nature Tourism Conference.
  • Save the dates for two upcoming webinars in January and February 2026, designed for DMOs and SMEs to turn the off-season into new opportunities.

We’re also starting early planning for a digital tool to support long-term goals—more details coming soon!
