KidsLikeUs Project Connects Creativity and the Power of Nature to Support Children

The KidsLikeUs project is making significant steps in supporting children’s well-being by combining creativity and the benefits of nature. The initiative, being part of the broader Interreg BSR Programme, focuses on developing innovative solutions that help children express themselves, manage emotions, and find new ways to cope with everyday challenges.

Using a variety of creative methods—such as art, music, storytelling, and digital tools—our project encourages children to explore their feelings and strengthen their self-esteem. Nature also plays a central role, with activities that connect children to outdoor environments, promoting relaxation, resilience, and social interaction.

The KidsLikeUs team collaborates closely with educators, health professionals, and families to ensure their solutions are practical and tailored to children’s real needs. Through pilot events and ongoing feedback, the project continues to refine its tools and share best practices across the Baltic Sea Region.
